1. ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT

By accessing the website thirstwithhunger.institute, enrolling in online courses, or utilizing our ministry resources, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This is a legally binding agreement. If you do not agree to every provision herein, you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and must discontinue use immediately.

2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Institute provides Christian educational materials, online courses, and pastoral resources for personal spiritual development. All content is provided for informational and religious purposes only.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & LIMITED LICENSE

Unless otherwise stated, all site content (videos, text, graphics, course PDFs, and logos) is the proprietary property of the Institute.

Permitted Use: You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access materials for your individual study.
Prohibited Use: You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or modify any materials. Sharing account login credentials with non-paying users is strictly prohibited and may result in the immediate termination of your access without a refund.

4. USER REPRESENTATIONS & ACCOUNTS

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:

All registration information you submit is true and accurate.
You will maintain the security of your password and account.
You are at least 18 years of age.
You will not share your course login credentials with others.
Your use of the Site does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

5. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may not use the Site for any purpose other than its intended educational and ministry use. Prohibited activities include:

Systematically retrieving data to create a separate database or directory.
Circumventing or interfering with security-related features of the Site.
Using the Site to send unsolicited emails or “spam” other students.
Uploading or transmitting viruses or malicious code.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & CONTENT

The Site may link to third-party websites or services (e.g., Stripe, Zeffy, YouTube). We are not responsible for the accuracy, practices, or policies of these third parties. Your use of third-party content is at your own risk.

Transactions are processed via third-party providers (Stripe and Zeffy).

Security: We do not store full credit card details.
Refund Policy: All digital product and course sales are final unless a specific money-back guarantee is explicitly stated on the individual product page.
Tax Status: As the educational arm of Thirst With Hunger, we are in the process of obtaining 501(c)(3) status. Donations are made at the donor’s risk regarding current tax deductibility.

7. PASTORAL COUNSELING DISCLAIMER

Spiritual guidance or faith-based counseling offered by the Institute is for religious purposes only. It does not constitute licensed therapy, medical advice, or clinical mental health treatment. Participants are encouraged to seek qualified medical or legal professionals for non-spiritual matters.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Thirst With Hunger Institute provides biblical teaching, educational courses, ministry resources, spiritual guidance, and related activities for spiritual and informational purposes only.

By engaging with the Institute, whether through this website, online courses, digital products, virtual events, or any educational activity, you acknowledge and agree that your participation is voluntary and at your own discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thirst With Hunger Institute, its officers, directors, board members, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from or related to your participation in or use of:

1. Website content, online courses, or digital resources.
2. Teachings, lectures, sermons, or curriculum materials.
3. Counseling, mentorship, guidance, or spiritual direction.
4. Virtual workshops, gatherings, or student forums.

This includes, but is not limited to:

1. Decisions made based on course content, ministry teaching, or guidance.
2. Emotional, spiritual, relational, or personal outcomes.
3. Financial, career, or personal decisions.
4. Any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Thirst With Hunger Institute and its board members/employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of a third party.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any claim or controversy arising out of this agreement shall first be submitted to good faith mediation in Richmond, Virginia. This encourages a biblical approach to conflict resolution before seeking court intervention.

11. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove content from the Site at any time without notice. We are not liable for any price changes, site interruptions, or the discontinuance of specific courses.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the event of any controversy or claim arising out of these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to settle the dispute through good faith mediation in Richmond, Virginia.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND SEVERABILITY

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
